OUR AFFILIATIONS& RECOGNITIONS
The Indian Institute of Fashion and Animation, in collaboration with Bangalore & Mysore University, offers professional university courses. Bangalore University (BU) and Mysore University (MU) are prestigious government universities in Karnataka, India. These universities are affiliated with the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), and University Grant Commission (UGC). Bangalore University was recently trifurcated into Bengaluru City University and Bengaluru North University. Founded during the reign of Krishnaraja Wodeyar IV, the Maharaja of Mysore, the university is recognized by UGC for offering higher studies degree courses both on-campus and online. The university upholds values such as Learning, Quality, Integrity, Diversity, Freedom of Inquiry and Expression, Accountability, Access to the Underserved, Adaptive and Responsive, Innovation, and Collaboration. IIFA offers a wide range of programs including Bachelor’s Degree courses, Master Degree Courses, Diploma, and Advanced Diploma courses in Animation & Multimedia, Game Designing, Interior Designing, Fashion Designing, Visual Communication, and Sound Engineering. The B.Sc program offered by IIFA is more advanced compared to the BA program offered by other universities.

The talent in India has gained recognition and is extensively utilized in various fields such as Animation movies, Interior design, Fashion design, Advertising, Marketing, Web designing, and related industries. Consequently, there will be a substantial increase in the demand for skilled professionals across all sectors. Notably, Animation, Interior, Fashion, and Game designing hold utmost importance. The starting salaries in these fields range from Rs. 3 lakh to 6 lakh per annum, depending on the candidate’s experience and expertise. The growing demand in the global market has positioned the Asia-Pacific region, particularly China, India, Singapore, South Korea, and the Philippines, as premier destinations for animation outsourcing. Meanwhile, the Indian animation industry has witnessed a remarkable growth of 24% in 2021 and is projected to triple its value to Rs 180 billion by 2026.
